You may have heard that Microsoft are about to launch a brand new "Operating System".  This is a "replacement" for Windows Vista, and I absolutely 100% recommend it - I've carried out extensive testing since the first public "preview" version was launched by Microsoft in January 2009, and let me tell you, it's GREAT!

People are marketing it as "what Vista" should have been.  I disagree, it's not a re-worked Vista, it's Windows - Reloaded.  If you have 2 identical machines, one with Windows 7 on, the Windows 7 one will be quicker every time.

It's not generally available yet - Microsoft don't officially release it until October 22nd - however, you can for a limited time preorder the software to guarantee you get it on the release date - AND you get a nice discount, too!!

Home Premium - perfect for the home user

Professional - aimed at businesses

Ultimate - has all the bells and whistles!
